How Did I Get Here?

In 2018, I searched for portrait oil painting tutorials on YouTube. I found my teacher, Yupari, and joined his Patreon classes online. I listened for hours every week, learning the basics. Watching and learning not to be afraid of putting paint on a canvas. This is how I eventually began a series of Master studies. Rembrandt, Vermeer, Artemisia Gentileschi, Bouguereau, John Singer Sargent. My dream was to improve my skills and to become a painter in my spare time now, and then full time when I retire from mortgage technology. I can lose myself for hours painting. In the next 8 years, it will be possible for me to paint everyday. ❤️
